Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper Purse #2

My share today is another Stampin' Up! Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) Purse that I made using my pattern for the Beyond the Garden DSP Purse that I posted yesterday.  The purse will hold five 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" cards, depending on the cards' embellishments.

The pattern, as contained in my Beyond the Garden DSP Purse tutorial, allows for different decorations on the front of the purse.  This purse front is embellished with many blossom petals made with the Blossom Petals Punch.  I'm sure you've seen purses with numerous petals covering the purse front.  This purse resembles such purses.

The Poppy Parade Card Stock was used for the body of the purse and the blossom petals.  One of the designs within the Beyond the Garden DSP was used for the purse closure and the center flower of the purse front.  The petals were embossed with the Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and spritzed with the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.  The handle on the purse was made with Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon.

Stampin' Up! Beyond the Garden Purse

Hello, and thanks for stopping by to see my Stampin' Up! Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) Purse.  This DSP is so beautiful and it becomes available this Sunday, May 1

I personally designed the pattern for this purse, and it is different from the others I've designed.  This purse was designed to hold approximately five 5-1/2" by 4" cards, depending on the cards' embellishments.

I used Pacific Point Card Stock to create the purse closure and the blossom on the front, which is decorated with a Beyond the Garden DSP flower.  I used two Simply Adorned 8" Bracelets that are connected by a piece of old Wild Wasabi ribbon to create the purse handle.  As an added touch, on one side of the handle I attached a Simply Adorned 5/8" Square Charm that features "Guneaux Designs" inside, and on the other side, a Simply Adorned Clear Crystal Bauble.

Leave a comment on your thoughts regarding the purse.

Stampin' Up! Beyond the Garden Greeting Card

Here's a Stampin' Up! Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) greeting card that spotlights the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, both of which become available on May 1.  I am quite happy with the beauty of this card.

I decided to make this card with fewer layers than usual.  I used one of the designs within the Beyond the Garden DSP as a primary element in the card.  This design is so beautiful; don't you agree?  Concord Crush, one of the "In Colors", is the primary card stock used.  It is decorated with a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock that is enhanced by use of the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

I created the roses with several Daffodil Delight layers of Image 1 from the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.  I love the way they turned out, and I love this punch.  The "heartfelt thanks" is from the Stampin Up Hodgepodge Happiness Stamp Set.

Purchase the Beyond the Garden DSP and the unique punch HERE on May 1.

COME BACK NEXT WEEK FOR BEAUTIFUL PROJECTS MADE WITH THE BEYOND THE GARDEN DSP!  HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Stampin' Up! Paisley Petals Card

Hello - I have another Stampin' Up! Paisley Petals greeting card to share today.  This card features another one of the designs within the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP) and products that become available on May1 when the Summer Mini debuts.

This card is the same style of card that I featured last week.  It is one sheet of DSP folded in a manner that results with pockets on the front and inside of the card.  From the top left to the bottom right of the card features upcoming Stampin' Up! products.  The bottom piece of card stock is the Stampin' Up! Brushed Gold.  The top piece of card stock is embossed with a new Stampin' Up Embossing Power, Tangerine Tango (item #123106).  Isn't it beautiful?  The two pieces of  card stock are embellished with blossoms from the upcoming Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch (item #122464).  The blossoms were first embossed with the Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and then spritzed with the Stampin' Up! Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.  The same is true for the inside of the card.  The blossoms were also embellished with Basic Pearls Jewel Accents.

The two greetings, (You Always do the Nicest Things and Thanks for being a friend) are from the upcoming Happy Greetings Stamp Set (item #123313).  The stem and leaves on the card were made with Crumb Cake card stock and the Two-Step Bird Punch.  They were embossed with Stampin' Up! Clear Embossing Powder, which turned them more of a brown than a Crumb Cake color.  Regardless, they were to resemble the Crumb Cake leaves on the DSP.

REMINDER:  The  Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper becomes unavailable at COB on April 30.  If you cannot wait until it returns in July, you'll need to buy it now.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed my card!  To purchase any of the current products used in this project or other Stampin' Up! products, place your cursor over the links and you will be taken directly to the product.

Greeting Card Idea - Beyond the Garden DSP and Flower Garden Textured Embossing Folder

Here's a greeting card that provides a sneak peek of the Stampin' Up! Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Flower Garden Textured Embossing Folder that will be available with the debut of the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog on May 1.  The greeting card was made from one of the 12" x 12" sheets from the DSP.    These two pictures show both sides of the DSP.

When developing this card, I knew I wanted to feature the upcoming Stampin' Up! Flower Garden Textured Embossing Folder.  Therefore, using the Big Shot, I imprinted the design from the textured folder onto Glossy White Card Stock.  I then embossed each flower and the stem by using the upcoming Stampin' Embossing Powders in these three colors -  Melon Mamba, Wild Wasabi, and Tangerine Tango.  After embossing the flowers, I decided to cut out the design to place it on the front of a card.

Here's the card featuring both the DSP and the embossed flowers.  Embellishments on the card front are two strips of card stock created with the Eyelet Border Punch and a ribbon knot made with Daffodil Delight 5/8" Satin Ribbon.  The Eyelet Border embellishment is also on the inside of the card.  The card front and inside have folds in which I placed the greetings.

This picture shows the front and inside of the card.

This picture gives you a better look at the inside of the card.

Birthday Greeting Card - Extreme Dirt Bike

This Stampin' Up! Birthday Greeting Card features the Extreme Dirt Bike stamp, and the card is for my grandson.  Today is my special grandson's birthday, and he is into dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and anything that has wheels (lol).  And he's only 11 years old.  Now he doesn't fly in the air yet, but I'm sure there will come a time when he will!  But he is very special, so according to Nana, he deserves it all.

I used sponging, brayering, and embossing to create this greeting card.  Trying to replicate a bike chain and wheels on the left-side of the card, I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch , the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, and the 1/2" Circle Punch

HOPE MY CREATION INSPIRES YOU!

Greeting Card Idea - Stampin' Up! Paisley Petals - For You

Today's share is a Stampin' Up! greeting card featuring the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP).  This card spotlights the technique called braiding.  This design from the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper is perfect for this technique.  Here's the card:

Making the braid required a lot of measuring  and making straight, smooth cuts (some of mine aren't that straight though).  However, it's a cool technique.  The third picture below is a close up of the braid, which is highlighted with  Stampin' Up! Basic Pearls Jewel Accents.

Although the adorable Punch Bunch stamp set is no longer available, I used it for the sentiment.  The card stock used is the Stampin' Up! Baja Breeze, River Rock, and Whisper White.

Loving the Vintage Flowers as I do, I had to use a Baja Breeze one on the sentiment.  Other Stampin' Up! Products used are the Crimper, Scallop Circle Punch, and Photo Corners Punch.

Hope you like my card, and any feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

This "Best Wishes" greeting card was made with Stampin' Up! Baja Breeze Card Stock, Baja Breeze DSP (when I made this card and the Paisley Petals DSP purse, I thought this DSP was still available -  my apologies), and River Rock Card Stock. Half of the top card layer is the River Rock Card Stock that is embellished with the Stampin' Up! Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder.  The other half is the unavailable Baja Breeze DSP.  The center piece was made with a 2-3/4" square of Baja Breeze Card Stock and a 2-1/2" piece of the Paisley Petals DSP.  It is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals and embellished with Basic Pearls Jewel Accents, Baja Breeze Stampin' Glitter, and a Baja Breeze Vintage Flower.  The Baja Breeze and River Rock decorative label (made with the Stampin' Up Decorative Label Punch) features the "Best Wishes" stamp from the Silhouette Sentiments Stamp Set

The inside of the card was made with River Rock Card Stock and stamped with the floral stamp from the Silhouette Sentiments Stamp Set

I hope you enjoy the card.  Your feedback is appreciated.
